The new year is right around the corner. So what’s on the docket for 2020 travel plans? Why not basing a trip around a major annual event to get the most out of your vacation? Here are a few of our favorite rooted to Noble House destinations.
Truffle Festival [Napa, CA]
The grape has finally met its match in this three-day event (hosted 1/17–20 in 2020), where you’ll learn why female pigs naturally sniff out truffles, how to determine the sex of different truffles, and, of course, how to pair the world’s most prized food with wine.

Ultra Music Festival [Miami, FL]
The world’s premier EDM festival attracts more than 70,000 music lovers to Virginia Key Beach from 3/20–22 for three days of headline performances by the likes of David Guetta, Marshmello, and Deadmau5, as well as major pyrotechnics, confetti, and loads of lasers. We’re talking enough-to-put-your-cat-in-a-straight-jacket amount of lasers.

San Diego International Beer Festival [San Diego, CA]
It’s a small world after all at this three-day event (date still to be determined for 2020), held in the unofficial birthplace of craft beer. You’ll find nearly 400 beers from 200 breweries from around the world – many of which are hard-to-find specialty craft brews.
Hemingway Days [Key West, FL]
The most popular draw of this four-day fest (scheduled 7/16–19 in 2020) of prose, poetry readings, and presentations by Hemingway scholars is the look-alike contest, in which hundreds of white-bearded, cocktail-slinging Papa Hemingway doppelgängers ham it up for the crowd, then take to Duval Street for a mock bull run.
Bumbershoot [Seattle, WA]
Music is central, but not the sole focus of this Labor Day weekend (9/4–6) lineup that has boasted the likes of acts such as The Chainsmokers and Fleet Foxes. Sprinkle in comedians, quirky theater performances, and interactive light art, and you have the makings for the nation’s largest art festival.
